PsychoStreamer version 1.1

BETA NOTES! IMPORTANT!
--------------------------------
One thing to notice when you first start streamer is that if streamer is
started AFTER the game server has already been running. Streamer won't be
able to start a 'fresh' log until the next map change from that server. All
data is still logged from the previous map, but it won't be recongnizable by
PsychoStats for parsing. A special file is created for this first map so
you'll still be able to see the contents of it if needed.

Description:
-------------------------------
Allows you to use the 'logaddress' command on a Half-Life server to stream
log data from it to a remote server. This server software will run on the
remote system. It monitors the port you give it (28000 by default) for log
data. Multiple game servers can stream their data to this server at the
same time and all log data from each server will be seperated
automatically.

An 'allowed host' list is used to restrict what servers are allowed to
send any data to your server.

An 'ignore line filter list' can be used to have the streamer ignore
lines. Any ignored line will not be written to the log file. This is
useful to cutback the amount of useless log data in the logs.

A 'Proxy' IP:port can be specified and all log data streamed into the
server will be sent to the proxy as well as being processed by this
server. This is useful if you have to use another 3rd party tool that
requires log data from a game server (like csserverstats).

Installation:
-------------------------------

On the server running the Half-Life game server:
---------------------------------------------------------
In your server.cfg you must put the following line:
	logaddress 1.2.3.4 28000

"1.2.3.4" should be the IP of the host running PsychoStreamer.
"28000" is any port you want to use. (28000 is used by default in
PsychoStreamer).

You can also type the 'logaddress' command in the server game console for
it to take effect imediately so you don't have to restart the server. But
recomend restarting the server anyways, so that the first log will transfer
over to PsychoStreamer correctly.

Thats it for this side.

On the server running the PsychoStreamer
---------------------------------------------------------
Edit your streamer.cfg file with the correct settings for your server.
Make sure your "PORT" and "allowedhosts" options are set correctly or
nothing will work.

Start streamer at a command line.
Linux:
	./streamer.pl
Linux with screen:
	screen -A -m -S streamer ./streamer.pl
Linux (as a daemon):
	./streamer.pl -d

Windows (DOS prompt):
	cd c:\path\to\streamer\dir
	perl streamer.pl

PsychoStats setup:
---------------------------------------------------------
Edit your "LOGPATH" option in your stats.cfg file to point to the directories
created by PsychoStreamer. PsychoStats will then begin to combine and compile
all logs into you stats page. IE:
LOGPATH = {
  /path/to/streamer/logs/1.2.3.4.27015/
  /path/to/streamer/logs/10.0.1.2.27020/
}
